National & Generic Supports
National Action Plan
On 16th March the the Cabinet Committee on COVID-19 approved a National Action Plan. The plan was prepared following involvements from all departments and key agencies.
COVID-19 Government Action Plan to Support the Community Response
On the 20th March the Government launched an Action Plan, which sets out three key areas of initial focus in supporting a community response:
* Encourage and facilitate volunteering
*Provide community supports for older people
*Establish a help-desk for local community groups.

Covid - 19 Communication Pack for Communities

Health Communications Stakeholder Support
As part of the national response to Covid-19, the Department of Health, the Department of Rural and Community Development and the HSE are working closely to support stakeholders and community groups. These government departments have developed Partner Packs which provide: Audio & Visual Resources, Posters (including different languages), Leaflets, Guides, Social Media material and Guidance & Resources for Groups working with People with Disabilities. An Garda Síochána
All elderly and vulnerable people should be registered on the Wicklow Division Older Person Register. Use the O.P. Registration Form or call your local Garda Station
